Her Excellency, Chief Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma D. Uzodimma is the esteemed First Lady of Imo State and devoted wife of the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma, GSSRS,

She was born on December 15 in Aba, into the Ikeaka Family of Dikenafai in the Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State.
Her journey of excellence began with her early education at the International Early Learning Center (IELC), Aba, and Dority International Secondary School (DISS), also in Aba, in the present-day Abia State.
A scholar and legal luminary, Her Excellency, Chief Barr. Chioma Uzodimma pursued her higher education at the Imo State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree with honors. Subsequently, she continued her legal education at the Nigerian Law School, attaining the final professional capping necessary for her illustrious career.
Her professional journey commenced under the guidance of erudite legal luminaries, first at Chris Uche (SAN) & Co and later at Rickey Tarfa & Co. She further honed her legal acumen at one of Nigeria’s preeminent law firms, Emeka Etiaba (SAN) – Etiaba Chambers & Co.

Chioma Uzodimma, a devout Catholic and dedicated mother of four, has shown unwavering commitment to the welfare of vulnerable citizens. Through her office, she has collaborated with various advocacy groups to champion the rights of women, children, and the
physically challenged.
Her dedication to social and charitable causes is manifested through her pet project, the GoodHope Flourish Foundation. She has thoroughly utilized this platform to provide welfare, relief, skills development, and start-up seed fund empowerment for thousands of Imo State women, youths, and persons with disabilities. These beneficiaries are now independently standing on their own feet, resulting in a ripple effect by contributing to the creation of jobs and wealth among the Imo populace through their startups.
Thankfully, in deserved recognition of Her Excellency Chief Barr. Chioma Uzodimma’s relentless, selfless, outstanding and fruitful efforts at creating greater opportunities for Imo women and youths, she was in June 2023, appointed the National Secretary of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a pet project of Nigeria’s First Lady, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON, CON.
